A police chase of a burglary suspect who was possibly armed ended in Hawthorne after the suspect crashed into an innocent vehicle, according to police.

Officers from the Gardena and Redondo Beach police departments joined Hawthorne police in the search for the suspect and a perimeter near a mini-mart at 12845 Prairie Ave. was established.
