Once a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause, Al Jazeera TV channel is now banned by Mahmoud Abbas-led Palestinian Authority
It should be also noted that the Fatah movement of the PA had previously banned Al Jazeera from covering events in Jenin while accusing the channel of inciting violence against PA security forces.
