TCL just unveiled a new TV in its Precise Dimming Series. The QM7K is a Mini-LED TV and a follow-up to the recently-released QM6K. It uses the company’s Halo Control Technology Suite, which is kind of a catch-all name for a bunch of tweaks the company has made to the dimming and picture quality of its Mini LEDs.

New LED Chip and Super Condensed Micro Lens technology deliver new levels of contrast in screen sizes up to 115 inches.

The TCL QM6K Mini-LED TV is great value for your money. It's not a replacement for an OLED TV if you want the best picture quality money can buy, but at its current $599 price point, it's a great consolation prize for those shopping on a budget.
