The Capitals unveiled their “Celebrating Black History” jersey at their practice facility on Wednesday and hosted a panel discussion about pathways to hockey as well as a skate for a group of students, faculty and staff from Howard University, a historically Black institution in Washington.

The Museum DC has designed an exclusive Black History Month jersey for one of the hottest teams in the NHL, the Washington Capitals.

Utah Hockey Club announced their Black History Month programming that will be featured across digital channels, during game broadcasts on Utah 16, UtahHC+, and at Delta Center – all honoring the achievements and contributions of Black individuals and businesses throughout the state.
