A tree trimmer died after getting caught in a wood chipper while trimming trees at a town hall near Miami, officials said.

OCEAN RIDGE, Fla. (CBS12) — A man was killed after he was caught in a wood chipper on Tuesday morning in Ocean Ridge.

Like other gardening tasks, incorrect techniques will likely not kill the plant and most can usually be fixed.

The incident took place at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and involved an employee from a town contractor, officials said.
