Super Bowl Sunday got started with the wholesome return of Randy Moss on the set of ESPN's NFL Countdown after nearly two months away. The former superstar NFL wide receiver revealed back in December that he was taking a leave of absence from his analyst gig at ESPN while he battled cancer.

The former Patriots star has not appeared on broadcasts since December, when he stepped away to receive cancer treatment.

Randy Moss will be back with ESPN on Sunday, just in time for Super Bowl LIX. The six-time Pro Bowler is returning to the studio for "NFL Countdown" ahead of the clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, ESPN's Adam Schefter announced Saturday.
