Singer-songwriter Chappell Roan has quickly ascended to pop stardom over the past year, garnering attention on social media for her glitzy performances and receiving praise from critics for her campy and upbeat songs.

Chappell Roan isn’t the only one dropping $25,000 to support fellow artists. After former music exec Jeff Rabhan called out Roan in an op-ed for the Hollywood Reporter, Roan fought back and asked Rabhan to go band for band in donations to Backline’s “We Got You” campaign inspired by her Grammys speech advocating for better healthcare for musicians.
