A man remains hospitalized Thursday afternoon after he was injured in a shootout with a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy and a Lauderhill Police officer Wednesday evening.

A Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy and a Lauderhill police officer are under investigation, as is standard practice when a law enforcement officer fires their weapon.
