Avelo Airlines is ending four routes at East Coast airports. The Houston-based carrier cited low demand and a focus on different markets. The flight route decisions come as airlines have been announcing many new routes.

Avelo Airlines is trimming some unprofitable routes from its network, including service from Connecticut, North Carolina, Delaware and Georgia.
