The city of Auburn Police Department has released the identity of the two victims of this fire. The two downstairs residents of 12 Foote Street are identified as 72-year-old Vincent Tassone Sr.

The fire just before 6 p.m. Sunday engulfed the eight-bay garage, which officials determined to be a total loss.
