Weather Advisory was in effect for San Diego County's mountain communities Thursday with heavy snow and windy conditions expected.

Due to strong winds and hazardous road conditions, schools in Mountain Empire Unified School District will be closed Thursday for the safety of students and staff members.

Two more rounds of rain, wind and snow are expected to move through San Diego County this week, and officials want residents to be get ready. The first round will arrive on Tuesday and could bring about a half inch or more for areas west of the mountains,
