St. John's coach Rick Pitino said on Pardon My Take that Indiana should hire Chris Beard: 'He'd have them in the top 5-7 every single year'

Rick Pitino knows good coaches when he sees one, and he believes Ole Miss has a great man in command with Chris Beard. With a 19-7 record and a top 25 ranking, Beard likely will earn a new contract this offseason.

Indiana still has five regular season games left, but much of the attention on the program has shifted to the coaching vacancy that will be filled once the 2024-25 campaign concludes.
