Bayern Munich progressed to the next round of the Champions League on Tuesday night thanks to a draw against Celtic, but star striker Harry Kane may have suffered an injury in the process. Vincent Kompany took off the English striker at half-time due to some discomfort.

The 31-year-old England forward suffered a facial injury in the 0-0 Bundesliga draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

Michael Olise ’s 45th minute finish put Bayern ahead away from home and England captain Harry Kane doubled their advantage four minutes later. The Bundesliga leaders looked to be cruising into the last-16 but a goal from Celtic’s Daizen Maeda cut the deficit and gives some hope to Brendan Rodgers side.
