This trail can be done by most people. It's a 7 tier waterfall. Trail is well marked and maintained. It's about 3KMs and might take around 2-3 hours to complete so recommend to start early in the da…Dhavalc017的完整评论

Lovely. 3rd time there. Shame about the new life jacket thing. Not only are tehy mandetory, but you have to rent the bloody things. I'm a grown up who can swim. Most of the pools you can stand up in.…Roger D的完整评论

This is a beautiful waterfall that can be seen at 7 different levels. The trail is self-guided and cuts through a deciduous forest. Very clean and beautiful. Lots of tourists though along the trail!…issa81的完整评论
My boy is two year old. I am planning to take him to see the waterfall. When we get off the bus, do we still need walk? How long is the walk? Can baby go? Thank you/

Also 4 year olds would easily do it (if the kid loves running around and is active with stamina) , but for two year old to climb the steps might be a bit too much

Hi Jennifer. So sorry not to have seen your question until now. Hope you were able to visit, but if not, hope the falls are in your future travel plans. In the meantime, here's my thoughts on your questions: 1 Take as much time as you like. Depending on the levels of fitness and how much time you choose to spend at each falls, there's no need to rush. 2 Yes, swimming is allowed under the direction of staff and safety vests are available. Most folk are in T-shirts and swimming shorts. 3 From memory, yes, but not at every falls. 4 Yes.
Greetings! My husband and I will be spending a week in Bangkok between April 28 and May 4 and REALLY want to venture out to visit the Erawan Waterfalls. What is the best way to do this in one day? We want to arrive early so we can have some time there without huge crowds. Would one recommend hiring a private car? Is there a train? Perhaps joining a tour group? Is it possible to explore some of the Falls in one day and return to Bangkok? Thanks for your input :)

If you would like to go, be there early morning, so it gives you time to explore and swim in each level as you please. I found it better to stay one day in Kanchanaburi, I left Bangkok in the afternoon and head to Kanchanaburi, my partner and I woke up early that morning and head to the bus terminal, which it was a ten minute walk from where we stayed and took the bus, it takes over an hour to get to the Waterfalls, but just the journey on its own (on those old buses), its an adventure! We got to Level 7 around 3pm and had just enough time before the guards start telling people to leave. Last bus leaves at 4, so you need to make sure you leave by half three max to get to the bus stop on time Then afterwards, you could go and visit tthe bridge and day after you could head yo another destination such as the floating market.
