很多人到的一個地方，第二次上去終於找到位置泊車了。選擇在日落前一小時上來，車泊在山腰的位置，走上去大概15分鐘，路很好走，不是很斜。天文台內有很多展覽，適合喜歡天文知識的朋友。差不多到日落時分，就走出外面欣賞。想不到這裡看日落是如此漂亮，還可以欣賞洛杉磯的夜景。 Kevin H的完整评论

一直都好想去嘎地方，之前睇Lala Land就好鐘意哩個地方，12月噶時候去洛杉磯自駕遊終於去打卡啦!!!出發前係租租車度訂咗車，落咗飛機就攞車出發啦~去到哩度係黃昏啦，等咗一陣，就天黑，成個洛杉磯噶夜景都係眼前，超級靚!哩個係今次旅程入面最鐘意噶一個地方~ AlisaaaaaZ的完整评论

這是一個很適合欣賞洛杉磯夜景的地方，景致非常美，但常常上面會擠滿人，所以要自己擠出一個位置～我們來的時候有點霧，天氣不是很好，但還是可以觀賞到不錯的夜景。 據說這是lalaland 電影的取景地點，有興趣的朋友可以來朝聖一下！ WhiteCow8386的完整评论

Yes., I believe so. Only the dome where you watch the films are in the Samuel Oschin Observatory. This part was closed when we were there however the rest of the building was open. …

Yes., I believe so. Only the dome where you watch the films are in the Samuel Oschin Observatory. This part was closed when we were there however the rest of the building was open. This is where the exhibits are located as well as the viewing area of the live image of the sun. Unfortunately, the viewing apparatus that you look into for the solar image was broken down. The facility is free of charge. Parking near the building is expensive however you can walk up in which case that would be free too. Only the Samuel Oschin Observatory has a charge for watching whatever show they have on. The telescopes are outside. Get in line at or before 6:30pm., otherwise you may have a long line. There are also 5 or 6 telescopes outside on the lawn which are just about as powerful as the big Zeiss. Hopefully you'll get to see some planets. Fall is best for Jupiter and Saturn viewing apparently. Hopefully this helps. Great for kids, very educational.
