Really enjoyed our visit. Good modern displays plus a huge range of antique equipment and buildings associated with the development of BC’s forestry industry. Plus a ride on a steam train!TomSaintsRL的完整评论

It was an informative site that portrayed the history of how steam locomotives helped the logging industry in British Columbia. There were many outbuildings to have a look at while we waited for the …Usia2014的完整评论

I'dd say either 1 hour or 4. 1 hour- The Centre is a Forestry Museum, so there are exhibits, trains and machines (for example, a "yarder" with a steel "tree") demonstrating the importance of logging and mining in the area for the last 200 years. It is also adjacent to the Tourism information centre, so you can get any/all the info you need on the area. 4 hours- The Discovery Centre has a functioning steam train which runs regularly. It takes you over a trestle, then to a park. If you have kids or want a picnic, this is a great place to go. I know one mother who used to get a pass, and take her kids there almost daily so they could play and she could read.
