Hi Moruyalyn, The full moon is not really a stargazers friend unfortunately! We try not to have our tour running on the full moon nights if we can avoid it. We have gone through the process of removing the availability of our tour on full moon nights including the 20th of August so we will not be running that night. We can still share stories and point out some amazing constellations on the evenings with the bright moon and the moon looks amazing in the telescope too! The brightness of the moon will often drown out a lot of the stars so if you have the opportunity to be able to go stargazing on a less bright evening that's what I would recommend. You can't always plan around the moon though, so if you don't have many options, its still a very interesting evening learning about the night sky and seeing different object through the telescopes, just not as spectacular as nights with zero moon light :) Happy holiday planning!
