All Hike Table Mountain guides are registered with the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, and hold accredited qualifications in mountaineering and first-aid. Table Mountain is our office as well as playground. With over 100 years’ Table Mountain hiking and climbing experience between us, we’ve seen the mountain in all its moods and facets. We know its nuances and are intimately acquainted with its terrain. Complementing our experience of the mountain is our experience in dealing with people on the mountain combined with our enthusiasm for sharing the mountain with others. Our defining qualities as Mountain Guides include passion, enthusiasm, attentiveness, competence, a sense of humor, courtesy and friendliness.

We hiked 12 Apostles- which took 4 hours up. I believe it’s the longest distance wise but less steep. It was about 6 miles (I think) but my fitness tracker tracked 230 flights of stairs …

We hiked 12 Apostles- which took 4 hours up. I believe it’s the longest distance wise but less steep. It was about 6 miles (I think) but my fitness tracker tracked 230 flights of stairs -so it’s a climb. We all loved it (2 college aged kids with 50+ Year old parents). It was beautiful - without a guide we probably wouldn’t have finished

Hi Brenda. Cost is R1200 pp excl cable car descent (R150 pp) for 2 people. Duration is about 4 hours.
