question about Mt Greylock. Going there for Columbus Day weekend. Bascom Lodge, the restaurant at the top I've heard about----is it open in the fall/October? What would folks recommend for fairly easy trails? Finally, I'll be staying in the town of Cheshire, right near Mt Greylock. Are there lakes nearby for kayaking? Thanks for any and all feedback!
