Headless Horseman Haunted Attractions is located in Ulster Park, NY, part of the Historic Haunted Hudson Valley. The historic manor circa 1793 incorporates over sixty-five acres of naturally landscaped property including foreboding woods, surreal ponds, fruit orchards, and more. the teenagers didn’t do the illusionist show and did the hayride and haunted house in just under 2 hours. It would’ve been longer if we had arrived later (we were 7pm) because the lines between attractions were growing significantly despite the reservations limiting attendees.
Is there a place for adults/people to stay and hang back if one doesn't want to actually do the hayride? And would that person need a ticket regardless? Thanks!

Yes, there are shops, and places to eat so you can hang back and not go on the hayride. However, they will not let you in without a ticket.
