We spent three days in Anchorage and it was perfect. We spent one day heading to Denali on a bus, came back the next day on the train, it was a long day of travel but neat experience.

Except, I'm wondering how you manage luggage without a car-- For example--Can you bring your luggage with on the train when you leave Denali and head to anchorage? Also, any hotels or particular excursions that you'd recommend ? Thanks:) Jamie

Don't need it for the excursions as it is inclusive. they take care of everything. I used a carry on for the trip.
